Finally, we have some MBC Student Ministry Gear. While a cool shirt, it is a symbol of how we are family (brothers and sisters in Christ). We also couldn't help ourselves but put nicknames on the back

Brownies and Cupcakes

It is very common in this youth ministry and the whole church to give people nicknames. Emily is known as Brownie and Bella is known as Cupcake. Yesterday for lunch and dinner, respectively, we had brownies and cupcakes! (And somehow Caroline aka Bubbles shows up in both pics! UPDATE: Based on the gigantic plate of pudding Caroline had Thursday at lunch "Puddin'" is now a secondary nickname.)

Wow, it’s almost over. I stand in awe as to what the Holy Spirit is doing with the churches choice of Fuge to work with. My prayer is that all of these kids keep taking - minute by minute ownership of their relationship with Jesus. Because when we own something we are more invested in cultivating it, understanding it, and protecting it. Lord, we know these kids will come back to our homes on fire for you, which only He can do! Guide us as a church family to steward them throughout the year. I ask that you give us opportunities to come along side them and help build on the soil you are cultivating and give them continued opportunities to do kingdom work. Thank you to the PK & Kendall, Demarcus, Chris & Natalie, Cortney, and everyone else behind the scenes that made this happen. Praying a special prayer of protection and health as you venture back.
