Sunday school Classes are offered every Sunday Morning at 9:45 AM

Nursery/Toddlers : (3 months to age 2)
Toddlers up to two years of age. Teachers interact with children teaching manners in a loving environment. Provides parents with confidence concerning their child’s safety during church services
Preschool II: (Ages 2 & 3)
Teachers bring the Bible to life for children by helping them connect their own experiences with the Bible story each Sunday. Also to provide a safe, clean and loving environment for children. Teachers introduce children to the meaning of worship by singing, praying and giving offerings.
Preschool: (Ages 3 & 4)
The 3-4 year old Sunday School Class studies from the David C. Cook series. Children are taught Bible application in an age appropriate manner. Teaching aides include arts and crafts and class interaction.
Learners: (K-First Grade)
Class time begins with interaction between students with games or crafts. The lesson materials include a short story with related materials that spark the interest of children using creative activities such as drawing, coloring, puzzles or crafts. Teachers interact the Bible story with children and end in prayer. Students are taught to memorize verses from the Bible that relates to the weekly lesson.
Discoverers: (Grades 2 & 3)
Each Sunday is geared to impart a biblical lesson relevant to the life of children today. Class begins with prayer, followed by review, scripture reading and the lesson. Each lesson is designed to spark lively discussion and is often reinforced by exciting games and activities.
Searchers : (Grades 4 & 5)
Students learn to follow God’s word. Each Sunday is spent focusing on a person or event from the Bible. During this study time students not only hear and discuss God’s plan, but are equipped with strategies to carry out his plan and bring others to Christ.
Youth I – Middle School: (6th through 8th Graders)
Study and discussion of Bible Truths. How the lesson relates to the student’s personal life while promoting Christian friendship and fellowship among classmates. Teachers use a world map to show students where the action in the lesson is taking place in the world and how and where God has related future events will take place. Going from prophecy to fulfillment of Bible verses.
Youth II – High School Age: (9th through 12th Graders)
Our mission is to bring God’s Word to today’s young culture in a relevant fresh and clear way. In today’s culture the pressure of dealing with choices and peer related decisions has become a dominating force. Just reading scripture is not the answer. Application is needed. The language is different. The problems more urgent. The environment more threatening. The main emphasis is placed on living your faith, peer pressure, finding your support group and decision making.
Young adult singles. Class time includes Bible study, group discussion and prayer.
Young Married Adults:
Class ministers to young married couples up to and through their 30’s. Lifeway quarterly, the Bible and other reference materials are used to study and lead discussions of subjects that address the needs and interests of young married adults.
Class is comprised of singles and couples ranging from the late 30’s through the 50’s. Class chooses a topic or a book of the Bible and will spend several months studying that topic. Outside reference materials and videos often augment class discussion. First 10 minutes of class is comprised of social interaction.
“Seekers of Truth” :
The “Seekers” is for young adults through seniors who “hunger and thirst” for the truth that is God’s Holy Word. We seek in the Word the truth that is Jesus Christ with a longing to know the Father through the Son. We study and pray knowing that God has a plan for us in His plan to restore the Kingdom, that His will be done, “on earth as it is in Heaven.” We invite all who seek to go beyond comfort to fellowship with us as we explore Christ’s command to “Repent, for theKingdom of God is at hand.” We seek to surrender to God, trust in His love and resist the temptation to “conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of [our] minds.” (Romans 12: 1,2)
A variety of married couples, widows, widowers, age 45 & up. Study materials include the Seniors Sunday School literature, plus the Daily Bread, the Bible and other study tools or items pertaining to the week’s lesson. The class strives to learn more about Jesus and work to help others less fortunate. The class is informal with open discussion time.
An “Open Bible” forum is used with roundtable participation including a question and answer time with member participation and open discussions. The teacher leads the class and introduces the Scripture of the day along with related Scripture and commentaries. Scriptures are related to everyday living in order to strengthen student’s daily witness and lifestyle.
Fidelis: (Women ages 60 & up)
Class begins with 15 minutes of prayer time beginning at 9:45 a.m. This time is set aside for prayer requests and fellowship, led by the president. Bible study lessons are taught from a quarterly manual. During the 45 minute lesson each member contributes to the discussion of the topic. Fidelis means faithful until death. Class members are truly concerned about each other and try to keep up with those who miss a Sunday.
Ladies’ Bible Study:
Mondays, 9:30a.m.-11:00a.m. in the Church Library.
Seasonal Bible Study: Fall – Spring. Mondays at 7:00p.m. at Debby Read’s home, led by Debby.
