Led by Minister of Music Karen Moskowitz, our music ministries offer a wide range of opportunities for all ages to learn, grow, perform and...    "make a joyful noise unto the Lord."

Music Ministries at MBC At Mineral Baptist Church, music is more than a pleasant accompaniment to our services, it is an integral and treasured part of our faith journey.   MBC has a long tradition of active Music Ministries for all generations of church-goers and members, serving God through music, as we glorify God in all we do. We celebrate God and worship through a variety of musical styles, and are sure there is something here for everyone, regardless of age, musical training or background.

Celebration Choir ...is a multi-generational choir (teens and adults) that leads congregational singing and offers special music during our 11am Sunday services.  The choir also provides special musical services during Lent and Advent, including our annual Good Friday service & Christmas Cantata. Newcomers with a heart for music  are always welcome!

The Praise Team   ... a dynamic group of misicians with a heart for the Lord, leads worship during our 8:30am Sunday contemporary services. Their music is eclectic, ranging from the David Crowder Band and Lincoln Brewster to updated hymns.   Our Praise  Team also shares special musical offerings at Christmas and Easter.  Anyone with a heart for leading contemporary worship with your voice or instrument, is encouraged to consider joining the team!

The Mineral Spirits ...is a vocal ensemble offering special gospel music during 11am worship services. They can also be seen statewide in concerts and at church-sponsored gospel sings Click here for more information and upcoming Spirits performances.

Children's Choir ...members sing special songs during worship services throughout the year, and present inspirational musical dramas during the Christmas and Easter seasons. Newcomers are always welcome!  Experience optional: enthusiasm a must! Youth Choir ...for all middle school and high school age teens.  With an emphasis on contemporary Christian music, we are building relationships, strengthening vocal skills and learning new songs for ensemble and solo offerings during worship.
	Handbell Choirs ...the all new Mineral Baptist Church HANDBELL CHOIR PROGRAM got off the ground in mid-2011 and already has two, multi-generational handbell choirs! We are learning the basics of handbell ringing, and look forward to offering special music during worship services this upcoming and future holiday seasons for many years to come!
Chronicles 288 (C288) ...is our youth praise band experience, providing instruction in acoustic, electric and bass guitar, keyboard, drums (and more!) for students interested in learning to play and sing contemporary Christian praise and worship music for worship services and youth events.
Singin' Seniors ...is a community-based, singing outreach group for seniors who meet weekly at Mineral Baptist Church. The Brass Ensemble  ...is a spirited group of volunteers who offer special music for occasional services throughout the year. Some are relatively new musicians, and others are excited to blow the cobwebs out of old horns and play again. If you have a horn and a heart for worship, please consider joining the brass ensemble.
